This Pacari organic single origin chocolate is made with some of the rarest cacao beans in the world and they are only available in limited quantities. The chocolate is made from cacao beans native to Piura, a region in the North-West of Peru. This cocoa is also referred to as Porcelana since they contain white cocoa beans. Porcelana is an ancestral Criollo cacao variety and considered to be the purest. It was nearly extinct and only re-discovered in 2007. Conservation efforts have been in place ever since.
