Lubeca single-origin premium whole milk couverture chocolate made from cocoa beans from Venezuela. The fruity cocoa bean variety of the Criollo cocoa tree is used and harvested from small plantations. Criollo cocoa beans are rare and their flavor profiles are considered the most desirable. This cocoa bean variety tends to be low in tannins, relatively low in polyphenols, has less theobromine, and generally less bitterness resulting in an exceptionally smooth feel.
Lubeca is known for the production of incredible smooth chocolate and high shine, which is achieved by intensively grinding the mass and a lengthy conching process to accentuate the quality and flavor characteristics of the cocoa.
This delicate milk chocolate couverture is made with raw cane sugar and fresh whole milk powder. It has a medium brown shade and balanced, pleasant whole milk chocolate taste.
