How To Make A Delicious German Chocolate Cake With Berries

German Chocolate Berry Cake - Chocolate & More Delights

Do you have a favorite cake? Well, here is ours. This fruity homemade German chocolate cake brings some color into your kitchen. We adapted this recipe from Dr. Oetker, which is our go to cake recipe source. The reason why we use these recipes a lot is that they always work. Dr. August Oetker, was a German inventor and food scientist. In 1891 he developed a baking agent, which was designed to ensure the success of the baking process. We all have it in our kitchen, it is the baking powder. This product is still produced according to the original recipe and it laid the foundation for the creation of the Dr. Oetker Group, a multinational company that produces cake mixes, pudding, cake decoration and various other food products.

The success of the recipes is always guaranteed. We sometimes make minor changes to the recipes at hand as we like lighter versions of otherwise heavy cakes. This refreshing berry chocolate cake calls for ingredients you most likely have at hand. It is easily prepared and well suited for special occasions and celebrations like, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day or birthdays.
