A quick and easy recipe, made in one bowl and in less than 10 minutes. This vegan chocolate cake is the fastest cake you will ever make. All ingredients are most likely available in your pantry. It is a really simple, yet very tasty sponge cake and perfect to serve when you have unexpected guests. You can add your own twist to it by adding further ingredients, such as nuts, almonds or chocolate chips to the batter. Alternatively you can also make cupcakes with this batter. Let's bake cake!
- 170 g / 5.99 oz Sugar
- 400 g / 2 cups All Purpose Flour
- 400 ml / 2 1/3 cups Water
- 125 ml / 4.09 oz Sunflower Oil
- 4 tbsp. Unsweetened Cocoa Powder 100%
- 1 pack (15 g / 0.52 oz) Baking Powder
- 1 Vanilla Bean or a few drops Vanilla Extract
- Berries for decoration
- Nuts, Almonds
- Chocolate Chips
Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and whisk them with an electric handheld mixer until all ingredients are fully combined. Pour the batter into the Bundt cake pan and bake this vegan chocolate cake at 175 degrees Celsius / 347 F for approximately 45 minutes. Decorate the cake as you like and enjoy!
